DK IB Collections: MYP 1–3 and 4–5
DK offers two collections of highly illustrated and fact-packed books: one collection of 13 books for the MYP 1–3 and one collection of 14 books for the MYP 4–5.
Each collection is expertly curated to match the core MYP disciplines and works alongside the free downloadable lesson plans, one each for the MYP 1–3 and for the MYP 4–5.
The collections incorporate connections to ATLs, learner profile attributes, subject-specific assessment criteria, global contexts, and related concepts.
The books have been selected as supplementary materials around the eight MYP subject groups to enhance and support existing MYP curriculums. The titles are organized around the below themes:

MYP 1–3 and 4–5 Lesson Plans
The MYP 1–3 and 4–5 Lesson Plans correlate to the MYP Collections and offer tasks and activities around the key MYP concepts.
Visible thinking tasks (many based on Project Zero Harvard Graduate School of Education) are used in line with the MYP values of fostering student agency. Activities allow students to explore their preferred learning styles and foster independent study skills. The lesson plans also emphasize the “action–inquiry–reflection” MYP learning cycle to reinforce the development of students as lifelong learners.
In conjunction with the collection, the lesson plans offer:

- Transdisciplinary and interdisciplinary resources (IDUs)
- Suggested reading for students seeking topics for Community Projects
- Suggested reading for exam review and assignments
- Encouragement of student agency through creative and critical thinking
