These ten lessons for year 5 and year 6 can be used as part of Black History Month or any month during the year when learning about significant people. Written for the English National Curriculum, they can be adapted by teachers to suit the needs of their upper KS2 classes. There are also cross-curricular links to History and Relationships Education.
