DK Super Readers has been levelled using MetaMetrics®: The Lexile Framework for Reading. This is a scientific approach to measuring both reading ability and the difficulty of materials on the same developmental scale.
For children who are learning English as a foreign language, we have also provided a Common European Framework of Reference for Languages (CEFR) Level. The CEFR is organised into six levels: A1 Beginner, A2 Elementary, B1 Intermediate, B2 Upper Intermediate, C1 Advanced, and C2 Proficiency. This helps to identify the learner’s level and suitable learning materials.
The table shows the Lexile range for each of our levels alongside age range and year group. We have also provided an approximate Bookband colour and CEFR level.
Use the filters on the All resources section of the site to find suitable materials for the level you require.
